The Behavioral Wellness Center (BWC), offers a true team approach to mental health treatment. Doctors, Social Workers/Counselors, Nurses, techs and other support staff work together to create a caring, healthy, healing environment for patients.

We treat patients with a myriad of mental health disorders from major depression and anxiety to more chronic issues like schizophrenia. We also work with patients with dual diagnosis (mental health and substance abuse issues) as well as those with personality disorders.

The feedback and input of each staff member is vital to patient care; therefore, the opinions and recommendations from staff play a major role in the patient’s treatment.

The Behavioral Wellness center allows the social worker or counselor to have daily, direct clinical contact with patients in a therapeutic setting. We provide group psychotherapy, individual and/or family therapy and substance abuse counseling. This environment allows the clinician to develop individualized treatment plans and select treatment interventions based on patient need and clinician expertise.

Group psychotherapy is our primary treatment modality. The ideal candidate will have experience in facilitating psychotherapy groups and a desire to continue learning about the group process.

We offer several different levels of treatment. This allows us to meet the patient where he/she is and provide a unique therapy experience. Being a member of the BWC team affords the opportunity for ongoing clinical treatment and to really see progress in patients as a direct result of that treatment.
