Administrative Assistant - Metaire, LA

The administrative assistant performs diverse administrative duties. This could include accounts payable and accounts receivable, invoicing, answering calls, handling mail, maintaining spreadsheets, customer service, expense management, and other duties as identified by management.
High School diploma required; college degree preferred. 3 years of professional work experience related to administrative services, client support, or accounting. Experience in insurance, workers’ compensation, or the healthcare/medical field beneficial. Attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, general computer skills, communication skills, and the ability to service client needs effectively and professionally required. Experience with A/R, A/P, and general accounting preferred.
Strong work ethic, reliability, accuracy, and integrity are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a positive, friendly, customer-service oriented demeanor required. Solid computer/technology skills required.
