This is a great opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join a our team and help optimize prescription benefits. The Pharmacy Technician initiates phone calls, receives inbound calls from physician offices and help translate prescriptions. In this role, you will review prescriptions received from various departments and evaluate them for clinical opportunity. You would be responsible for addressing the appropriateness of a therapy, generic substitution, or therapeutic interchange opportunities with potential cost savings outcomes. This position allows you to utilize your skills with calculating figures, rates, ratios, percentages in whole numbers, fractions, and decimals in optimizing prescriptions for the pharmacists.

Required Qualifications
- Must have a valid tech registration with the Idaho Board of Pharmacy.

- 6+ months of pharmacy technician experience or equivalent pharmacy technician education

Preferred Qualifications
- PTCB Certification

- Prior experience within a customer service and/or call center environment

Education
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED)
