Title:Project Manager - Fort Polk
Salary Range:$35,500 - $40,000 annual
State:LA - Louisiana

The Commissary Supervisor 3rd shift (Project Manager) at Fort Polk in Louisiana will be responsible for providing supervision to a work force mainly comprised of disabled persons. Other responsibilities of the role may include:
  • Planning nightly work schedules and monitor work attendance
  • Responsible for making sure shelf-stocking tasks are completed as scheduled, to specified quality standards and within budget limits
  • Participating in daily communication with Commissary personnel to ascertain problems/concerns, reach decisions regarding appropriate solutions, and to maintain a high level of satisfaction in terms of quality service, and effective communication at the facility
  • Responsible for making sure all custodial tasks are completed, to specific quality standards, and within the contract specifications.
  • Maintaining a thorough knowledge of contract statement of work and adherence to performance standards
  • Monitoring use of supplies and equipment and request additional supplies as needed
  • Training program participants/employees in orientation to the building, proper work techniques, schedules, usage and conservation of supplies, operation of equipment, and safety practices
  • Orientation of all program participants/employees on rules and regulation of the facility and of CW Resources
  • Communicating with appropriate person(s) regarding program participant's performance or behavior issues
  • Developing standards for performance for employees
  • Completing necessary paperwork, such as: quality control reports, case counts, task completing reports, employee warnings, performance evaluation, supply inventory, time studies/performance measurements, etc
  • Lifting up to 30 to 40 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds intermittently
  • Minimum of two years of grocery store or commissary experience (one year in a supervisory position preferred)
  • Experience working with disabled personnel preferred
  • Must be able to work directly with disabled individuals to train in basics work habits and skills
  • Must have high school diploma
