Northwestern State University of Louisiana invites applications for the position of Assistant Director for Compliance. Northwestern State University (NSU) is a member of NCAA Division I in all sports except football, which competes in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). NSU offers eight women's sports and six men's sports and is a member of the Southland Conference (SLC).

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree and two years of Division I compliance experience preferred.
- Job Concepts
Assist with monitoring activities of athletic department coaches and staff members as they relate to NCAA and SLC regulations. Monitor and collect various compliance-related documents, and will also complete and review required NCAA and SLC forms. Participation in athletic and university meetings and activities as assigned will be an essential aspect of this job, including the dissemination of education and interpretations of NCAA and SLC rules to institutional staff members, student-athletes and boosters. The candidate will have the opportunity to monitor and report on the initial eligibility of incoming student-athletes. Data collection and data input for NSU's Academic Progress Rate (APR), Federal Graduation Rate, Graduation Success Rate (GSR) and Compliance Assistance Software (CAl) will be important in this position. Expected to perform other compliance-related duties as assigned.
