Responsibilities and Qualifications
Responsible for the inspection of outbound shipments to include bulk/case and best unit of measure (BUOM) orders for the Franciscan Distribution Center (FDC) also known as Logistics1. Inputs and tracks data for the warehouse to identify trends and recommend improvements to reduce defects. Seeks guidance and brings to the attention of Management any concerns that could potentially impact product integrity and quantity of items being shipped to customers.
Responsible for the inspection of outbound shipments to include bulk/case and best unit of measure (BUOM) orders utilizing a statistical sampling plan.
Update all reports dealing with outbound shipments to include bulk/case and BUOM orders. Ensure accuracy of data.
Seeks guidance and brings to the attention of Management any concerns that could potentially impact product integrity and quantity of items being shipped to customers.

Education: High School diploma.
Experience: 2 years of quality control audit work experience or other related warehouse or distribution experience. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated mathematical ability to count accurately when required and follows sampling methodology. Ability to critically evaluate, follow and audit written instructions. Must be able to manage multiple, complex instructions simultaneously. Ability to interact with co-workers at all levels and present findings in a neutral manner, fostering continuous improvement, and a collaborative environment. Ability to identify process flow and record deviations, potential impacts, and process improvement.
Other: Attitude; effectively practices and promotes teamwork in all duties. Actions are consistent with objectives and goals for department, distribution center, and health system. Job Knowledge; knowledge of procedures relative to job duties, TECSYS system, distribution center, and health system operations. Judgement; Makes decisions based upon job knowledge and experience. Considers all impacted areas in decision process. Seeks advice where applicable. Judgement sensible and reliable. Dependability & Empowerment; Completion of assignments without follow up. Ability to identify, adapt and pursue priorities. Provides proper communication of unresolved issues in a timely manner. Industry - Utilizes available work hours effectively. Actively seeks other tasks upon completion. Safety - Observes universal precautions consistently. Wears proper personal protective equipment when appropriate. Personal Appearance; Wears clothing and badge consistent with dress code. Attends to personal hygiene to maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance. Attendance; Adheres to Health system attendance standards. Provides advanced notification of absence where possible.
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree
Preferred Experience: Knowledge and experience with lot controlled and expiration dated product handling. Knowledge and experience in working with advanced warehouse management systems. Two years previous experience in a similar position.
