Tara Therapy is looking to hire a full-time or part-time Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy for patients in long-term care facilities in Missouri, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Georgia, or Alabama. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

As a Physical Therapist at a long-term care facility, you arrive each day happy to work for a practice that gives you the time and support to get real results for your patients. You use your knowledge of developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents to plan and deliver the best individualized care for each of your patients whether challenged with orthopedic issues, neurological diseases, or complex medical conditions.

You conduct patient evaluations and take the time to really understand their complaints and goals as you work on their individual treatment plans. Your attention to detail is essential to your success, as you keep up-to-date and accurate records. You also provide excellent leadership for assistants. And, your collaborative skills come into play as you play an active role on each patient's interdisciplinary team. Using your good communication skills, you also take the time to thoroughly educate caregivers at the skilled nursing facility on how to assist patients with their individualized maintenance programs. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A PHYSICAL THERAPIST

• Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited physical therapy program
• Current physical therapy license
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations as they pertain to long-term care, skilled nursing, and rehabilitation facilities
